A trunk show, usually taking place over a weekend, is a special event when a designer sends his or her entire current or runway collection to the boutique.  This offers brides the opportunity to try-on and order their gown from a grouping of couture styles that may not always be available at Alta MODA or in Utah.

Often the designer or an assistant will attend the trunk show to offer key advice and expert custom changes.  Discounts are also frequently available during trunk shows.
