Just over a week ago, we got to spend a Sunny Sunday in a dear friend’s orchard with a team of talented and rather witty wedding vendors. David Newkirk’s vision of a striking couple surrounded by blossoming trees was effortlessly pulled together. And… it was featured today on Snippet & Ink!

Both gowns featured are from Monique Lhuillier’s Bliss collection.

David’s images definitely take center stage, but we thought you’d enjoy some behind-the-scenes shots of the action:

Did you see? Last Friday Salt Lake Bride & Groom featured a comely couple on their blog – Andrea & Brad.

Not only do we love this session shot by Jacque Lynn Photography, but we’re rather fond of the gorgeous gal featured in them. You see, Andrea (or Drea as we know her) is part of our team at Alta Moda Bridal. She’s also part of the dynamic gals at Lily & Iris.

Keep an eye out for more about this rising start, her wedding, and her shining personality. You’ll adore her!

Kayla is a bride with vision. She knew just what she wanted, she found the right vendors to make it happen, and it all came together at one stunningly beautiful wedding at Park City Mountain Resort last month.

Captured by the perfectly-chosen David Newkirk, Kayla and Brian’s 20’s themed wedding was full of flapper-style dresses, feathered headdresses, fedoras, suspenders, and of course, the Charleston. Every aspect of the decor, and even the attire of the guests, came together to complete Kayla’s vision perfectly.

Kayla wore a tiered lace gown from Amy Kuschel, with a satin pillbox hat and attached french net veil.

One day, we let JacqueLynn loose in the boutique with her camera. (Always a good idea.) The results are rather dreamy.

Our lovely (now former (sad)) co-worker Hailey modeled for Jacque, while Flavia of Versa Aristry styled hair and makeup, and Megan and Andrea created the looks.

Enjoy the details, they are so dreamy and soft. I start with my personal favorite shot I like to call “DayDreaming”.

Jacque, Flavia, you are loved. Nice work, ladies.

Chances are good, when you think of Utah, Moab is one of the first visuals that comes to mind. Now, imagine it with an elegant woman wearing a sleek Elizabeth Fillmore bridal gown about to marry her dapper gentleman – This is Susan and Tony.

Married late last fall, and photographed by local talent Micheal Tallman, their wedding took place at the Sorrell River Ranch overlooking the iconic red rock mountains.

We are very pleased to have one of our gowns featured in this layout highlighting the natural beauty of being in the West. Toss in Rebekah’s uncanny ability to make every shot beautiful, and you’ve got yourself some mighty-fine wedding inspiration.

Congratulations to our bride Jeantte and photographer Rebekah Westover for landing (rather gracefully) on the cover of Utah Valley Bride.

Behind that parasol is a striking Badgley Mischka wedding dress – You get a bit of  teaser of how fabulous it is from the skirt.

The bride helped design the modest variation on the bodice, but you’ll have to pick-up a copy to see all the other splendid details of her gown, wedding and celebration.

When you put the charming Britt Chudleigh on a roof-top with a gorgeous model (Katie, a rather recent Alta Moda bride) all adorned in Monique Lhuillier, with clever styling by Flavia of Versa Artistry, you can bet that something sumptuous will prevail.

How cool is she?!

For a while now, I’ve been trying to convince my co-workers we need a staff photo shoot. A few are camera shy (myself included), a few are curious why (can you blame them?), and the others, well, I think they may actually be on board.

It hasn’t happened yet, but when I saw these shots by Jacque Lynn Photography (who also did this shoot with one of our gown), of Lenni (our Lily & Iris manager), they revived my resolve. So, consider this blog a plea to my cohorts to consent.

Lenni looks the ethereal beauty she is in this set of photographs. Jacque used the natural light to perfectly bring out Lenni’s quiet charm and inner mischief.

The staff photo-shoot isn’t the only reason I blogged these. It’s because they are simply captivating.

Lenni is a gem and Jacque is a doll – How could I not?
