New York bridal market was a delightful whirlwind of satin and tulle, rain and shine, oohing and ahhing.
Justin and I love our job, are obsessed with our brides, and can’t get enough of wedding dresses. Can you blame us?
Here are some of our favorite trends, gowns, and moments.
Natural Waist, Full Skirts:

Anne Barge, Monique Lhuillier, Amy Kuschel
Textured Skirts:

Vera Wang, Anne Barge, Monique Lhuillier
Belts, you know I love them:

Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier, Augusta Jones
I frequently get asked which is my favorite gown in the store. That is a totally unfair question, but I can say there are pieces that speak to my personal aesthetic, and the Anne Barge number below spoke volumes to both me and Justin.

And to finish off the post, here’s a shot of me and Justin at the Martha Stewart Weddings event, at their photo booth, with the magazine cover as a backdrop.

Great wedding idea, huh? Create your own magazine cover as a photo-op backdrop for guests?
Thanks for following us to New York.

I love how you can tell a vera wang before the caption is in sight:) That first Vera Wang reminds me of hers from two or three seasons ago, the one that Carrie Bradshaw wore in the Sex and the City movie. And that wrap/bolero will be a gorgeous modest adaptation!
