Remember, Katie, the beautiful “bride” from our behind the scenes post the other day?

Not too long ago Katie was a real bride, in her own fairytale destination wedding, overlooking the waves of La Jolla, California. Tall, blonde, and as beautiful as she is sweet, Katie was stunning in a lace Monique Lhullier sheath, and mantilla veil. The entire amazing day was captured by the photographers of Ventana Photography.

What’s not to Love about Cartier Love sunglasses?! This gift idea definitely hinges one the luxurious side of giving, but it was inspired by spying a pair of these on a very fashionable mother of one of our brides. (Not to mention, a couple of my friends and I are now in-Love with these.)

Alright, brides, are you excited?  The Sample Sale is on Saturday – that’s fewer than two days away!

To give you the best advantage, here are some insights:

There was a line the last two years, and though we can’t predict if/how much of a line there may be, it’s advised you come early with a warm coat.

Once 10 o’clock hits, you’ll get to come inside to stay warm and cozy as you wait.

You’ll be put on a list in order of the line/arrival  – no fuss, no standing around for too long.

Consultations will be limited to 40 minutes – We’ll be running 7 fitting rooms to help get you in your dream dress as soon as we can. And just because it’s a sample sale, it doesn’t mean you’re on your own. You’ll each get an experienced consultant from start to finish. They know all the gowns (by name and inside and out), all the tricks, and how to make sure you are beyond thrilled.

Only 4 gowns can initially be selected. (But your consultant will guide you and make sure you try on the perfect styles until you find the one.)

Only the sample sale gowns will be on display.

We’ll only have room for one or two guests per bride. (Bring the decision maker.)

Gowns are sold as is – alterations not included.

No holds, payment in full.

That being said, we are so excited to see you all on Saturday. There are more gowns than ever on sale, over half can be temple-ready, and we even have extra plans in-store to make sure you have a great time on Saturday.

There’s a chill out, but the energy for our sample sale is warming up. Actually, it’s pretty darn hot! All we can say is, you must join us on December 10th.

The sale list is being put together right now and there are over 60 gowns that’ll await you Saturday. So, whether you’re picturing a sexy, slinky number or a glorious and grand ball-gown, you (and your budget) will be delighted by our sample sale selection.

Like in past years, once the doors open at 10 am, you’re welcome to join us in our parlor to stay warm and cozy as you patiently (maybe excitedly?) wait your turn. That’s our friendly way of saying there might be a queue and there might be wait time. But there will definitely be 60+ jaw-dropping, figure-flattering, couture wedding dresses at prices that will leave your wallet (and, quite likely, your mom) rejoicing.

Familiarize yourself with some previous posts, like this one and this one, to gain an edge and start planning your sample sale strategy.

Some helpful hints:

• You might want to line up early
• Bring only one or two people with you
• Know what you like, but keep an open mind

Lucky us – today one of our bridal gowns was featured in their Winter Wedding Inspiration shoot. The wedding dress in question is Lexington from Badgley Mischka (one of our manager’s most-loved in the boutique), accented by a Paris couture veil.
